October 14, 2015 (Shareholders Foundation) - An investigation on behalf of investors of Tantech Holdings Ltd (NASDAQ:TANH) shares over potential securities laws violations by Tantech Holdings and certain of its directors and officers in connection certain financial statements was announced.

Tantech Holdings Ltd reported that its annual Total Revenue rose from $16.122 million in 2013 to $65.49 million in 2014 and that its Net Income increased from $9.58 million in 2013 to $13.98 million in 2014. Shares of Tantech Holdings Ltd (NASDAQ:TANH) grew from $6.66 per share in March 2015 to as high as $31.09 per share in late August 2015. Since then NASDAQ:TANH shares declined to as low as $6.50 per share on October 7, 2015.
