Investigation Overview

On or around February 20, 2019, a Swedish TV program reported that it had uncovered documents linking Swedbank AB k to a money laundering scandal with Denmarks Danske Bank and alleged that at least 40 billion Swedish crowns ($4.25 billion) had moved between Swedbank AB and Danske Bank accounts between 2007 and 2015, and Estonian prosecutors confirmed that they were checking out the claims as part of [their] Danske investigation.
Shares of Swedbank AB (publ) (OTC: SWDBY) declined to as low as $17.50 per share on February 21, 2019.
