June 8, 2015 (Shareholders Foundation) - An investigation on behalf of current long-term investors in shares of Sears Holdings Corp (NASDAQ:SHLD) shares was announced over potential breaches of fiduciary duties by certain officers and directors at Sears Holdings.
The investigation by a law firm concerns whether certain Sears Holdings Corp (NASDAQ:SHLD officers and directors breached their fiduciary duties and caused damage to the company and its shareholders.
Shares of Sears Holdings Corp (NASDAQ:SHLD) declined from as high as $82.55 per share in March 2012 to as low as $24.78 per share in October 2014.
Sears Holdings Corp reported that its Total Revenue declined from over $39.85 billion for the 52 weeks period that ended on February 2, 2013 to over $31.19 billion for the 52 weeks period that ended on January 31, 2015 and that its respective Net Loss increased from $930 million to over $1.68 billion.
