Investigation Overview
December 26, 2014 (Shareholders Foundation) - An investigation on behalf of current long-term investors in shares of A Schulman Inc (NASDAQ:SHLM) shares was announced over potential breaches of fiduciary duties by certain officers and directors at A Schulman.
The investigation by a law firm concerns whether certain A. Schulman Inc officers and directors breached their fiduciary duties and caused damage to the company and its shareholders.
Shares of Schulman A Inc (NASDAQ:SHLM) grew from $18.21 per share on June 2012 to as high as $41.97 per share in July 2014.

On October 22, 2014, A. Schulman Inc reported its fiscal 2014 fourth-quarter and full year results. Schulman A Inc reported that its Total Revenue rose from over $2.13 billion for the 12 months period that ended on August 31, 2013 to over $2.44 billion for the 12 months period that ended on August 31, 2014 and that its respective Net Income increased from $26.10 million to $56.19 million.
On December 26, 2014, NASDAQ:SHLM shares closed at $40.63 per share.
