July 1, 2009 - The lead plaintiff filed an amended consolidated complaint on behalf of investors who purchased NutraCea (OTC: NTRZ) common shares between April 2, 2007 and February 23, 2009. The plaintiff alleges that the defendants violated the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 by issuing false and misleading statements between April 2, 2007 and February 23, 2009.
May 29, 2009 - Lead plaintiff and lead counsel were appointed and all cases were consolidated.
April 28, 2009 - Lead plaintiff motion was filed.
April 27, 2009 - Another investor filed a complaint on behalf of investors who purchased NutraCea (OTC: NTRZ) common shares between April 2, 2007 and February 23, 2009. The plaintiff alleges that the defendants violated the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 by issuing false and misleading statements between April 2, 2007 and February 23, 2009.
February 27, 2009 - An investor in shares of NutraCea (OTC: NTRZ) filed a lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona on behalf of all purchasers of NutraCea common stock (OTC: NTRZ) during the period from August 14, 2007 through and including February 23, 2009 over alleged violations of Federal Securities Laws by NutraCea.
According to the complaint the plaintiff alleges that NutraCea issued false financial statements that overstated its revenue by $4.6 million or nearly 25% and when NutraCea announced that it would have to restate its financial statements to correct for the revenue overstatement, the price of NutraCea dropped, damaing investors.
