April 22, 2016 (Shareholders Foundation) - An investor in shares of NRG Yield, Inc. Class A (NYSE:NYLD.A) filed a lawsuit behalf of purchasers of NRG Yield, Inc. Class C common stock (NYSE:NYLD) pursuant to and/or traceable to NRG Yield’s June 29, 2015 offering of its Class C common stock.
The plaintiff alleges that certain documents filed in connection with the June 29, 2015 offering contained allegedly materially false and misleading statements and/or allegedly failed to material facts and trends concerning historically low wind speeds during the second quarter of 2015 and that such poor wind production would have a significant adverse impact on NRG Yield, Inc’s performance and results for the second quarter of 2015 and when the true details entered the market, shares of NRG Yield, Inc. Class A (NYSE:NYLD.A) fell to $14.65.

NRG Yield, Inc reported that its annual Total Revenue increased from $387 million in 2013 to $869 million in 2015 while its Net Income declined from $81 million to $13 million.
