March 6, 2008 - An investor in shares of MF Global Holdings Ltd (NYSE: MF) filed a lawsuit was filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York against MF Global Holdings Ltd over alleged violations of Federal Securities Laws in connection with certain allegedly false and misleading statements made in connection with in its Initial Public Offering on July 19, 2007 and on the open market through February, 28, 2008.
The complaint alleges that defendants violated Sections 11, 12(2) and 15 of the Securities Act of 1933. The complaint further claims that the Registration Statement and Prospectus issued in connection with the IPO were materially false and misleading.
