Investigation Overview
June 2, 2015 (Shareholders Foundation) - An investigation on behalf of investors of Embraer SA (ADR) (NYSE:ERJ) shares over potential securities laws violations by Embraer SA and certain of its directors and officers in connection certain financial statements was announced.
The investigation by a law firm focuses on possible claims on behalf of purchasers of the securities of Embraer SA (ADR) (NYSE:ERJ) concerning whether a series of statements by Embraer SA regarding its business, its prospects and its operations were materially false and misleading at the time they were made.
On November 2, 2011, Embraer SA, announced that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission ('SEC') is investigating Embraer for possible violation of the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, or ('FCPA'). Embraer SA said that in response to a subpoena issued in an investigation by thh SEC relating to possible violations of the FCPA , Embraer SA retained outside counsel to conduct an internal investigation into transactions in three specific countries.
Embraer SA reported that its annual Total Revenue increased from over $6.16 billion in 2012 to over $6.28 billion in 2014 while its Net Income declined from $347.80 million in 2012 to $334.70 million in 2014.
