January 20, 2017 - A motion to dismiss the consolidated complaint was filed.

April 28, 2016 - An investor in shares of Daimler AG (OTCMKTS:DDAIF, OTCMKTS:DDAIY) filed a lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California over alleged violations of Federal Securities Laws by Daimler AG in connection with certain allegedly false and misleading statements made between February 22, 2012 through April 21, 2016.
According to the complaint the plaintiff alleges on behalf of purchasers of Daimler AG (OTCMKTS:DDAIF, OTCMKTS:DDAIY) common shares between February 22, 2012 through April 21, 2016, that the defendants violated Federal Securities Laws. More specifically, the plaintiff claims that between February 22, 2012 through April 21, 2016 defendants issued false and misleading statements about Daimler’s compliance with emissions standards and Daimler’s purported eco-friendly BlueTEC diesel engines Daimler AG reported that its annual Total Revenue rose from over EUR 129.87 billion in 2014 to over EUR 149.46 billion in 2015 and that its Net Income increased from over EUR 6.96 billion in 2014 to over EUR 8.42 billion in 2015. Shares of Daimler AG (OTCMKTS:DDAIF) increased from $45.35 per share in November 2012 to over $99.19 per share in March 2015. Shares of Daimler AG (OTCMKTS:DDAIY) grew from $45.36 per share in November 2012 to as high as $99.00 per share in May 2015.
On April 21, 2016, Daimler AG announced that is investigating “possible indications of irregularities” regarding its certification process of exhaust emissions in the United States at the request of the US Department of Justice. Shares of Daimler AG declined to $70.09 per OTCMKTS:DDAIF share, respectively $70.12 per OTCMKTS:DDAIY share, on April 22, 2016.
