March 8, 2019 - An investor in shares of Conduent Incorporated (NYSE: CNDT) filed a lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey over alleged violations of Federal Securities Laws by Conduent in connection with certain allegedly false and misleading statements made between February 21, 2018 and November 6, 2018.
Florham Park, NJ based Conduent Incorporated provides business process services with capabilities in transaction-intensive processing, analytics, and automation in the United States and Europe. Conduent Incorporated reported that its annual Total Revenue declined from over $6.4 billion in 2016 to over $6.02 billion in 2017 and that its Net Loss of $983 million in 2016 turned into a Net Income of $181 million in 2017.
On November 7, 2018, Conduent Incorporated announced its third quarter 2018 financial results. Conduent Incorporated disclosed that its third quarter 2018 revenue was $1,304 million, down 11.9% compared to Q3 2017 and that issued its financial and strategic outlook for its fiscal year 2018. Shares of Conduent Incorporated (NYSE: CNDT) declined from $23.89 per share in September 2018 to as low as $9.68 per share on December 26, 2018.
According to the complaint the plaintiff alleges on behalf of purchasers of Conduent Incorporated (NYSE: CNDT) common shares between February 21, 2018 and November 6, 2018, that the defendants violated Federal Securities Laws.
On March 8, 2019, NYSE: CNDT shares closed at $14.16 per share.
