July 22, 2011 - The court approved the settlement, entered the orders approving the plan of allocation, the motion for attorneys’ fees and expenses, and dismissed the action with prejudice.
February 2, 2011 - The court preliminarily approved the settlement.
January 27, 2011 - Parties filed a stipulation of settlement.
April 14, 2010 - The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit affirmed in part and remanded in part the decision of the district court.
April 24, 2009 - The lead plaintiff filed a notice of appeal.
March 23, 2009 - The court granted the defendants' motion dismiss with prejudice, entered judgment in favor of the defendants and ordered the case closed.
November 13, 2006 - The defendants filed an additional motion to dismiss.
March 6, 2006 - The defendants filed a motion to dismiss.
January 3, 2006 - The lead plaintiff filed a consolidated complaint on behalf of investors who purchased AuthentiDate Holding Corporation (NASDAQ: ADAT) common shares between August 6, 2002 and May 27, 2005. The lead plaintiff alleges that the defendants violated the Securities Act of 1933 and the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 by issuing false and misleading statements between August 6, 2002 and May 27, 2005.
October 7, 2005 - The lead plaintiff and lead counsel were appointed and all cases were consolidated.
August 2, 2005 - Lead plaintiff motions were filed.
June 3, 2005 - An investor in shares of AuthentiDate Holding Corporation (NASDAQ: ADAT) filed a lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York against AuthentiDate Holding Corporation over alleged violations of Federal Securities Laws in connection with certain allegedly false and misleading statements made between September 29, 2003 and May 27, 2005.
The complaint alleges that AuthentiDate Holding Corporation failed to disclose that AuthentiDate Holding Corporation was not achieving performance metrics under a contract with the United States Postal Service for the sale of electronic postal marks, and that when AuthentiDate Holding Corporation reported that it received a second notice from the Postal Service that it intended to cancel the contract for failure to achieve the performance metrics, the market price of AuthentiDate Holding Corporation (NASDAQ: ADAT) common stock declined.
